Model I Flange Sight Glass with Teflon Insert

Description:

The Model I Flange with Teflon insert mounts on standard ANSI B16.5 (2" thru 8") flange connections. It is designed to be used when the wetted part (insert) needs to be made of Teflon . The Model I Flange uses a threaded cap that allows you to change outspare parts without disturbing the Teflon insert bolted between flanges. This unit is rated for temperatures up to 450 °F, and uses Teflon packing and gaskets. Applications requiring DIN standards or non-ANSI flanges are available upon request and no mating gasket required.

5. Lens Cushion Gasket: Teflon
6. Lens Packing: Teflon
7. Compression Screws: 18-8 Stainless Steel; Carbon Steel SA-193
8. Retainer Cap: Carbon Steel SA-105; 316 or 304 Stainless Steel SA-182

This sight glass has been certified as maintaining a Quality Assurance System in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC (PED) Annex I, Paragraph 4.3 by the Certification Body 0036 of the TÜV Industrie Service GmbH. * FM Approval includes 150psi models only
