Model I Flange Sight Glass with Teflon® Insert

Description:

The Model I Flange with Teflon® insert mounts on standard ANSI B16.5 (2" thru 8") flange connections. It is designed to be used when the wetted part (insert) needs to be made of Teflon®. The Model I Flange uses a threaded cap that allows you to change outspare parts without disturbing the Teflon® insert bolted between flanges. This unit is rated for temperatures up to 450°F, and uses Teflon® packing and gaskets. Applications requiring DIN standards or non-ANSI flanges are available upon request and no mating gasket required.

4. Lens: Two-Piece Laminated Tempered Soda Lime (Standard); Tempered or Annealed Borosilicate; Quartz; Lexan; Acrylic; Mica Shields
5. Lens Cushion Gasket: Teflon®
6. Lens Packing: Teflon®
7. Compression Screws: 18-8 Stainless Steel; Carbon Steel SA-193
8. Retainer Cap: Carbon Steel SA-105; 316 or 304 Stainless Steel SA-182

This sight glass has been certified as maintaining a Quality Assurance System in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC (PED) Annex I, Paragraph 4.3 by the Certification Body 0036 of the TÜV Industrie Service GmbH. * FM Approval includes 150psi models only
