Oblong Sight Glass

Description:

The Oblong Sight Glass unit, with its bolt-down lens retainer cap, is designed for adaption to new or existing equipment to become an integral part of a vessel shell. The Oblong units increase the viewing length beyond that of standard sight glasses, and are designed for 150 psi and rated for temperatures up to 450ºF. Different materials of construction are available to meet your process needs.

3. Lens: Tempered Soda Lime (Standard); Tempered Borosilicate; Lexan; Acrylic
4. Lens Cushion Gaskets: Teflon®; Grafoil®; Gylon®; Blue-Gard®; etc.
5. O-Rings or Packing Viton®; Teflon®; Graphite; FDA Teflon®; Buna-N, etc.
6. Retainer Cap Bolts: 18-8 Stainless Steel; Carbon Steel SA-193
7. Set Screws: 18-8 Stainless Steel; Carbon Steel SA-193

This sight glass has been certified as maintaining a Quality Assurance System in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC (PED) Annex I, Paragraph 4.3 by the Certification Body 0036 of the TÜV Industrie Service GmbH.
