Type I & II Sight Glass with Threaded Retainer Cap

Description:

Type I and II Sanitary Sight Glasses are designed for sanitary applications used in the food, dairy, and pharmaceutical industries. Type I and II Glasses have a threaded retainer cap that can be removed, which allows easy access to the inside of the lens for cleaning and/or sampling of the product.

Materials of Construction:

1. Body: 304L or 316L Stainless Steel
2. Caps: 304L or 316L Stainless Steel
3. Glass: Tempered Soda Lime; Tempered Borosilicate (Pyrex); Quartz; Polycarbonate (Lexan); Acrylic
4. Gaskets: Teflon®; Viton®; Buna-N; Silicone; EPDM; Gore- Tex®; etc.

This sight glass has been certified as maintaining a Quality Assurance System in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC (PED) Annex I, Paragraph 4.3 by the Certification Body 0036 of the TÜV Industrie Service GmbH.
